This mentorship is for healthcare and family-facing professionals who want to think more clearly about how their expertise is communicated, positioned, and received.
Many professionals have solid training and good intentions, yet still experience friction in practice: resistance from parents, confusion around sleep advice, blurred boundaries, or difficulty articulating their professional voice. This mentorship focuses on the level where those challenges usually sit — interpretation, communication, and context.
This is not supervision or therapy. It is a focused, one-to-one space for reflection, clarification, and strategic direction.
How I work
My work sits at the intersection of education, health communication, and parenting cultures. I draw on professional teaching experience, interdisciplinary training, and years of applied work translating evidence-based guidance for families. Rather than focusing on techniques or protocols, we examine how knowledge is framed, how authority is constructed, and why advice that is “correct” on paper often struggles in real family life. Culture, values, power dynamics, and parental stress are treated as central factors — not obstacles to be managed away. Professionals often come to mentorship with the sense that their expertise is sound, but that something in the translation is not working. This work is about sharpening that translation.
What we can work on

- Clarifying your professional voice, scope, and positioning
- Communicating sleep and parenting guidance without triggering resistance or defensiveness
- Navigating contested or polarised topics while maintaining professional integrity
- Making sense of why parents selectively adopt, reinterpret, or reject advice
- Working across different family cultures, values, and expectations
